On 13 September 2010 the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University officially launches the new 3D Lab supported by the SimPro Project. The event will be attended by representatives of the government, academia, business and media. It is a free entry event.
An annual SimPro Project meeting was held today 18 December 2009 at the office of ICB – InterConsult Bulgaria. The meeting was attended by the managers of the different project dimensions and representatives of all project working groups. Every working group delivered a presentation on its achievements, and working group Business Processes made a demonstration of the developed software prototype.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and ICB - InterConsult Bulgaria won a project for establishing a competence centre for simulation and business processes (SimPro). The project has been funded by the National Science Fund and is with a total duration of 36 months. SimPro will develop research, training and consulting activities. It will form a good practice for cooperation between the business and the academic community.
